THE MEN'S ROOM

The Men's Room is an emotionally charged short film dealing with explicit themes of male sexuality, intimacy, and the concept of public decency. When Thomas ventures into a park for a sexual encounter with a stranger, he uncovers a striking complexity composed of desire, fear, and betrayal. The Men's Room explores the seemingly unwelcome yet enduring pastime of public sex, a world of secrecy and code lurking just below the surface of normalcy.

"The Men's Room" of which I was part of as cinematographer; made it into the AtlantaInternational Film Festival and the Seattle International Film Festival and the BostonLGBT Film Festival. The film also screened at the Dances with Films Festival in Los Angeles, the Cine Gear Film Festival in Los Angeles, and the San Antonio Film Festival.

The Men's Room also screened at the Rhode Island International Film Festival last August.

I have received a "Best Cinematography" Award for the film at the MiMi LGBT Short Film Festival in Barcelona, Spain.
